Ingredients
1¾ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 large garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and toss to coat.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Serve immediately.
To make sure the chicken is cooked through, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you don’t have a grill, you can also cook the chicken in a skillet on the stovetop. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
To make the chicken more flavorful, you can marinate it in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and spices for several hours or overnight.
Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
