1 bag of tortilla chips 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef or chicken (optional) 1/2 cup diced tomatoes 1/2 cup diced bell peppers 1/4 cup sliced black olives 1/4 cup sliced pickled jalapenos 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Sour cream (for serving) Guacamole (for serving) Salsa (for serving)
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the tortilla chips. If desired, add the cooked and seasoned ground beef or chicken on top of the cheese. Sprinkle the diced tomatoes, bell peppers, black olives, and pickled jalapenos over the chips. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve the nachos hot with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side.
